Add custom redirects

Last Updated: Nov 06, 2013 09:27AM EST
A URL redirect is a method that allows the user to redirect an internal page to another internal page or external page.

1. To add a redirect, navigate to Configuration > Search and metadata > URL Redirects

2. Enter the "From" path (internal URL) for the page you wish to redirect.

3. Enter the "To" path. Enter the location you wish to redirect to. Enter a complete URL for external pages (ex. http://www.ngpvan.com). For internal pages, simply add the page path (ex. /content/testpage).

4. You may ignore the "advanced options".

5. Click "Save". You may see your list of active redirects by appending "/admin/config/search/redirect" to the end of your site URL or navigating to Configuration > Search and metadata > URL Redirects
